He clocked out at BPS at his usual time and took the regular route along Fernández Crespo. Same pace, same milonga playing in his head. He turned the corner and came face to face with the Palacio Legislativo. Óscar stopped and looked up at it. Its magnificence never failed to leave him in awe.
When he got home, a surprise was waiting.
