Carlos devoted whatever little free time he had to aeromodelling. "Aero-what?" more than one person asked him in disbelief. "I build miniature planes out of balsa wood. They have to look exactly like the real ones," he would answer patiently.
Aeromodelling was more than a hobby. Those were his happiest afternoons.
