The wedding photos were his favorites. One in particular: he and Yolanda looking into each other’s eyes, as if they were magnetized. It looked like a movie poster.
“Yoli, do we have any picture frames left?” Julio asked.
Yolanda nodded and pointed to a half-open box.
“I want to display this wedding photo when Carlos is born. That will be the second happiest day of our lives. The happiest will be when the three of us are together.”
Suddenly he remembered the beginning of their relationship. He used to pick her up at the YMCA, where she would greet him with her hair still wet from swimming class.
