Ileana had grown up with the Beatles' LPs. Their melodies were always playing in her parents' house—Olga and Ovidio's. No one was surprised when she said she wanted to be an English teacher.
At the Anglo Institute, she discovered Shakespeare. In real life, she met Flaco José. They fell in love, almost like in the English literature she read. Soon after, they got married.
―It's going to be something simple, Mom. Music, empanadas, and friends, that's enough.
Ileana and José moved to Buenos Aires almost immediately. They set up their first apartment, Soledad was born, and their routines shifted:
―Good afternoon, children! I’m Ileana, your new teacher.
