Francisco took life with a great sense of humor. He had followed in the footsteps of King Momo and every February made his pilgrimage to the Teatro de Verano. He had been on stage as a comedian in Betún and behind the curtain as a lyricist.
That day he arrived home in the Cerro neighborhood with a new melody in his head. He turned it over on paper again and again until, at last, it became a song. He thought about the title and realized the piece already had a name: Alejandra.
