He adjusted his pillow and let his eyes fall half shut. The memories came flooding back: his first day at IAVA, the sheer size of the place, how it had overwhelmed him.
He remembered the streets around the school too. Avenida 18 de Julio with its long blocks of shops and neon signs. The coffee at Sportman and the hot chocolate from the shop. Half asleep already, he promised himself he would go back someday as a lawyer, or a teacher, or maybe as a father.
