Fate put him face to face with a woman distinguished by her activism. A woman with a face that seemed familiar. Her name was María Antonia and, like him, she was from Florida.
Mario had moved to the capital at eighteen. He got a job as a press writer while studying to become a social worker.
They married in the summer of 1975 at the Santa Teresita church. They celebrated with their families over a large lunch.
